By downloading or using PDF42, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use PDF42 on your Android device for personal or business purposes.

• You may not copy, modify, or distribute the app.
• You may not reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code.
• You may not sublicense or sell access to the app.

PDF42 is free to download with a limited free tier. A PDF42 Pro subscription unlocks additional features.

• Subscriptions are billed through Google Play and governed by Google Play's terms.
• You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.
• We do not offer refunds outside of what Google Play's refund policy provides.
• Subscription prices may change. We will notify you in advance of any price change.

The free tier includes two types of ads served by Google AdMob:

• Interstitial ads — full-screen ads that may appear at natural transition points (e.g., between actions). These are dismissible and frequency-capped to minimize disruption.
• Rewarded ads — optional ads you can choose to watch in exchange for additional saves or features. These are always your choice.

Upgrading to PDF42 Pro removes all ads. Ad content is governed by Google AdMob's own policies.

You retain full ownership of any files you open or edit in PDF42. We do not access, upload, or store your documents. All processing happens locally on your device.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use and edit any file you open in the app.

You agree not to use PDF42 to:

• Forge, falsify, or fraudulently alter documents
• Infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Interfere with the app's integrity or security

We reserve the right to terminate access if these terms are violated.

PDF42 is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of data, loss of profits, or indirect damages arising from your use of the app.

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. Upon termination, your license to use the app ends immediately.

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is based. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
